Rotary mud and rock drilling for groundbeds and more.

Drilling

Specialised rotary mud and rock drilling for anode groundbeds, piling, earthing systems, monitoring wells and geotechnical investigations — for utility, water, oil & gas and pipeline projects.

Overview

IICORR provides specialised rotary mud and rock drilling services for the installation of anode groundbeds, piling, earthing systems, monitoring wells and geotechnical investigations.

Our capability includes a high-performance YG-260 rotary drilling rig with 15-tonne lifting capacity and 76 kW diesel-powered drive systems, drilling diameters from 140 mm to 305 mm and depths up to 250 m. We use rotary mud drilling, down-the-hole (DTH) hammer rock drilling, tri-cone and pneumatic rock-hammer systems across a wide range of soil and geological conditions — supported by experienced field crews and strong safety systems.

Capabilities

Anode groundbed installation

Rotary mud and rock drilling for deep and shallow anode groundbeds.

Oil & Gas

SA hydrocarbon facility — CP supply & maintenance

Supply and ongoing maintenance of cathodic protection for firewater, service-water and crude storage tanks and a loading jetty at a major South Australian hydrocarbon facility — continuously since 2007.

Pipelines

CP field installation — test points, cadwelding & coating repair

Field installation of cathodic protection test points and cables, cadwelding and pin-brazing of CP connections, and coating repair across a pipeline corridor.
