Post-tension design, remediation and durability.

Concrete Assessments and Remediation Works

Specialised concrete remedial, structural rehabilitation and durability engineering — plus engineered post-tensioning — for industrial, commercial, water and infrastructure assets.

Overview

IICORR provides specialised concrete remedial, structural rehabilitation and durability engineering for industrial, commercial, water and infrastructure assets — concrete repair, crack injection, corrosion remediation, structural strengthening, waterproofing, protective coatings, carbon-fibre reinforcement and cathodic protection for reinforced concrete.

We also provide engineered post-tensioning solutions — applying controlled force to high-strength steel tendons to introduce compression into concrete, helping it resist cracking, sagging and excessive movement. Post-tensioning delivers lighter, more efficient structures: greater span, reduced slab thickness, improved crack control, lower deflection, faster construction and longer service life.

Capabilities

Post-tension design & remediation

Engineered post-tensioning using specialised stressing systems, anchorage assemblies and tendon ducts — tailored to the structural design, program, site and budget.

Concrete remediation

Concrete repair, crack injection, corrosion remediation and structural strengthening for concrete cancer, spalling, reinforcement corrosion and water ingress.

Durability & condition assessment

Half-cell potential, chloride and carbonation profiling, cover and delamination mapping; severity classification and remnant-life estimation.

Protective treatments

Waterproofing, protective coatings and carbon-fibre reinforcement to extend service life.

CP for reinforced concrete

ICCP and hybrid cathodic protection for steel in concrete to ISO 12696 and AS 2832.5.

Applications

  • Bridges & viaducts
  • Wharves, jetties & marine structures
  • Reinforced concrete tanks & reservoirs
  • Industrial, commercial & civil infrastructure

Standards

ISO 12696:2022AS 2832.5:2008 (CP — steel in concrete)AS/NZS 2312.1/.2:2014AS 3894 series

Outcomes

  • Defensible, risk-ranked rehabilitation programs
  • Stronger, lighter, longer-lasting concrete structures
  • Asset life extended through CP where the economics warrant it
